ERIK IN VARIOUS LOOKS/STYLES

Are they twin brothers?

VESPA TOURING (Ciwidey, West Jawa)

This was my first touring using since I got this vespa one year ago.

I initially arranged for "de tour" in August 2007 (on the Independent day), but as last minute when we ready to hit "de tour" my scooter's registration was not released by the Authority (SAMSAT). "De tour" then was totally aborted.

So, a year later I can finally managed "de tour" even with a very minor preparation. "De tour" must go on and what ever will be, wil be lah! (did I put the sentence in a good English?)

Accompanied by my friend (ANTARA's reporter) we started the engines at 24.00 hours from Sentul. On a midle of "de tour" I had a minor engine problem at Puntjak. After fixing up the engine and had a hot coffee milk, we headed the scoots up to Bandung at 02.00 hours. In the foggy/freezing weather in Puntjak, we raced our scooters on top speed in the empty road between Puntjak and Bandung. With no serious troubles in our vespas, we arrived Bandung (Dago St.) on 06.00 hours and welcomed with a warm and nice morning sun shine. Stopped by at a very famous fast food restaurant (can not mentioned the name), we had a light breakfast there. We kicked out the starter at about 07.30 and geared up directly to Ciwidey. Even I was lived in Bandung for about 6 years, I still got problem to find out the right direction to Ciwidey. The roads were suddenly looked completely different. I did not find the city just like old Bandung in 80's.

With the assistance of very kind "Urang Bandung" we were back in track with the right direction. So, Ciwidey... here we come!

THE LEGEND (one of the KOES PLUS personnel)

I met Mas Murry by accident in Jogjakarta's airport lounge when I was waiting my flight to Jakarta. He is a very humble man! and I admired him.

I had a chance to ask Mas Murry for a photograph, and here is the result:
